Hello blog readers!! My name is Hailey Lambertson. I’ll be one of four authors on this shoe blog. I can’t wait to get started! I know I’ll learn a lot and I can’t wait to share with you what I know and what I learn. It’ll be SO fun!! I don’t know what brought you to our page, but I hope you stick around. We’ve got LOTS to share. You won’t want to miss it.
Before I start sharing about shoes, I’ll share a little bit about myself. I know when you’re behind a screen it’s hard to know who you’re talking to, so here’s who I am:
I am a nineteen year old college student, attending Ball State University. Chirp Chirp! I’m studying Accounting and Finance *yes I know that sounds boring* but it’s great. I’m not completely a numbers gal though, I love being creative. Give me a problem or a project, and I’ll do my best to solve it. I also love to create art. I’m a DIY girl for sure. I love to draw, paint, and even spin a ceramic bowl on the wheel if I get the chance to! Art has always been an outlet for me.
So what am I doing, when I’m not in class? Well, I stay very busy on and off campus, for sure! I attend Accounting Club, campus ministries, and more. I also work at a small business called Spotted Monkey Marketing. It’s so fun working with local businesses in the community. I also work a few hours a week for my grandpa — he owns his own Dental Laboratory. Ever had an impression taken at the dentist? Well, I use that impression to make a model of your teeth (super bizarre, I know!). That’s the rare assortment of activities that fill my schedule!!
During my downtime, my favorite thing to do is hang out with people. Sounds cliché, but I just love hanging out with people! I am SO thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. Here’s a few of them! 😉
I love my family and friends so much. I also love playing volleyball and watching Hallmark movies. My favorite food is Panamanian style and lastly, I’m a sucker for sweets — give. me. all. the. chocolate. So there you go! Now we can be best friends!!
So what am I going to talk about on this blog? A LOT. We’ll go from DIY shoe projects, to shoe organization, to MY favorite shoes, to shoes through the decades. We’re going to have a good ole time! Some posts will be from my own experience (my favorite shoes for different occasions) and some will be from research (shoes that give to charity)! And if you ask me for my credentials… well, I’m a girl that loves shoes… so that’s enough, right??
To be honest, I’m no expert in the shoe business, but I CAN speak from my own experiences and I’ll also be putting in the work, researching all the things us girls want to know about shoes, so you don’t have to!
