When people think of Sperry’s, they usually picture a pair of tan boat shoes. I know I did until I started working at a Saucony and Sperry outlet store. I mostly worked on the Saucony side so I didn’t know a whole lot about the Sperry’s, but I did learn that there are a ton of different styles to choose from for both men and women. This was very apparent when I had to organize our back room! They have everything from boat shoes to winter boots! Who knew! So today I am going to share with you some of the different styles of shoes that sperry makes, and the most popular shoes within each of those styles.
To start, Sperry has four main styles that their shoes come in. Those are boat shoes, sneakers, flats/loafers, and boots. So really, Sperry has a shoe for every occasion! The question is, what makes a boat shoe a boat shoe and sneaker sneakers? To answer this question I looked up what the difference of each of these styles are.
Boat Shoes: Shoes (canvas or leather) with rubber soles to provide good traction on boat decks.
Sneaker: A soft shoe with a rubber sole worn for sports or casual occasions.
Flats/Loafers: A leather shoe shaped like a moccasin, with a low flat heel.
Boots: A sturdy shoe that covers the foot, ankle, and sometimes the lower leg.
Now that that’s clear, let’s take a look at a few of Sperry’s most popular women’s shoes within each of these styles.

I personally have a pair of the tan Koifish boat shoes and a pair of green Saltwater Quilted Duck Boots. I love both of these pairs of shoes! My boat shoes go great with jeans and helps to dress up my outfit a little bit. Plus they have a non slip bottom which has been a lifesaver at work (I work at starbucks and things tend to get spilled). When winter rolls around I wear my duck boots just about everyday. They keep my feet very warm, which is great with the cold winters we have here in Muncie. On top of that they are a little dressier than typical snow boots so they look good with all those cute sweaters we all love wearing in the winter.
I hope one of these styles jumped out to you and you’ll be rocking your new pair of Sperry’s soon!
